  1. It is literally public record that she didn't lie about her side of the Kanye dispute. Kanye and Kim deliberately edited out the full context of the relevant footage to make her look worse, what are you talking about? I mean, yes, Taylor Swift is likely a privately narcissistic and vindictive person, but… Isn't that kind of the whole music industry? Please show me one pop star—male or female—whose unironically survives all ethical scrutiny with perfect clarity… It basically doesn't exist. A constantly changing, superficial, and materialistic industry crowns people with those kinds of personalities. The same could be said about any of our favs (Except me, of course! Regina Spektor has never been anything but humble and wonderful to everyone around her in the industry, cohorts and fans alike. :) Just try to ignore all of the completely unadulterated shilling for the IDF and her and her husband cracking down on people in a social media adrenaline burst blocking people and silencing anyone who criticizes Judea or supports Palestinian resistance in even a minimal form.)
  2. Absolutely love GOG. A friend of mine's mother has started radiology treatment for a cancer diagnosis, and this song has been a lifeline for her. Cried listening to it with her just last week. I pray for her every single day. This world is cruel, but God is always good. Sorry, not to get all religious on ATRL, but this song impacted me very deeply and seeing this just made me really happy.
  3. Lollllll this was my exact first thought!! His mom was probably fuming over those comments
  4. lol given that he just lost BAFTA and SAG, cockiness like this might end up costing him the Oscar. I don't think an actor has ever gotten the Oscar in more than 30 years without BAFTA or SAG, especially not when so many PR hiccups have hit the high dollar campaign. Marty Supreme was still great, though!
  5. As an absolute die hard Kylie stan, I appreciate the effort of making the case for her. Feels good to see.
  6. If nobody is illegal on stolen land, doesn't that mean colonizers are welcome too?
  7. Taylor Swift made hey kids spelling is fun so there's that.
  8. Do we have receipts on Mayhem being at 1.6m confirmed? I've tracked it across HDD and it seems to be at 1.04m for me?
  9. All this proves to me is that I've been right my entire life to say that the primary cause of shootings in this country is a neurotic, hyper-atomized, and culturally unresolved, overly pluralized population full of competing demographics that don't and can't trust one another and want each other's heads on sticks. This was not the beginning, this will not be the end, and this does not prove what you believe it proves. The proximity of this hitting the media to Kirk's death is no coincidence. I'm willing to bet my life that there's no substance to any of these "threats" and that they may not even be affecting campus life or students/faculty the way we're lead to believe by the article. Only way to find out would be to visit each campus individually and see for yourself. according to what research I've gone through so far, it seems like all of these schools received vaguely threatening correspondence (calls to offices, letters, etc.) and are responding VERY conservatively in the off chance anything does go down. But as is so painfully common in these cases (I would know because I attended college in a major metropolitan city when Joker came out in 2019 and EVERYONE and their grandmother received these sorts of pseudo-threats and nothing ever happens.), it's all going to be smoke and mirrors, because it's ALWAYS smoke and mirrors. a psy-op is a psy-op, in rust or in gold. Good luck finding people on this website smart enough to figure that out.
  10. I'm overwhelmingly English and Native-American, but my hair is dyed platinum blonde and I have VIBRANTLY blue eyes, so people think I'm Swedish all the time, especially in foreign countries lol.
  11. I've been a LIFE LONG Kylie fan, heard every single song she's ever released, and I was still stunned at how gorgeous this one is. Maybe top 3 songs by her ever for me. Can't believe she's as deep into her career as she is and still showing new layers of herself.
  12. This may be a leading contender for the STUPIDEST cultural exchange of the entire decade so far. the Sweeney ad is nothing even approaching racist. Beyoncé's ad looks like most any other ad she's ever done. There is nothing newsworthy about either one. anyone who has been genuinely emotionally affected by either one has the EQ of a feral child raised by Mongolian wolves. everyone just log tf off, please.
  13. I'm gonna optimistically predict a peak in the #8-12 range, with it hovering in the 15-25 range for several weeks. I'm also hoping it'll show more chart longevity than Disease. 15 weeks on the chart with the aforementioned peak would be super cute for it.
  14. Exercise helps, but often times I'll write, too. Even if I just end up rambling to myself and not putting down anything profound, it always ends up being a net positive for my emotions in the long run to put my thoughts into some kind of words and have a page (or pages) full of it by the time I'm done. Sometimes I surprise myself with how meaningful my thoughts are, and sometimes the words just sour and I look back on it all years after the fact and just cringe at myself. In either case, doing something to process what you're feeling is incredibly important.
