Why is there confusion? There's 2 different videos from over 20 years ago where Britney said that she met her when they were both filming WW & S4U at Universal and she just brought it up again a couple of weeks ago lol. Although Shakira didn't mention the exact moment that they met, she has also said that she loves Britney and that she was very sweet when they met. They also met less than 2 years after when they did the Rolling Stone magazine cover together, I'm sure you've seen those videos. What I find odd is that in her post a couple of weeks back, Britney mentioned that when she met Shakira that Shakira had braids and different colors in her hair (this was when she had braided black hair with pink/blue/purple in it in 1998 before crossing over to English). If she met her when they were both filming WW & S4U, this would've been 3 years later when Shakira already had wavy blonde hair with no braids lol. So I wonder if they actually met when Shakira still had black hair and only sang in Spanish...could be possible since Shakira was already attending the English Grammys by that time.
