no shade but I expect more from her 1st independent release. she now has 100% creative control + freedom and the first thing she releases sounds like her last 2 albums give us the country album that's been floating around for almost 20 years, give us something rock, give us something dance. she talks about making all this music and flirting with genres, now's the time to show us! I hope we get something more substantial soon, I know she has it in her.

Well, it sounds like something in the middle of Meaning of Life + Chemistry albums. The guitar saves it but when I listen to a Kelly song, I expect her to outshine everything. The last 2 minutes are good but the first half of the song is just average for Kelly. Of course she sounds incredible as always, just feels a bit dated compared to Mine + Skip This Part.

Babes you don't speak for all 'loyal' fans. Day 1 fan here who loves the sound of it! And just because a song is slow doesn't make it 'soccer mom' music. This is the FURTHEST thing I've ever heard from that. While Chemistry had some low points it also had some of her best vocals and some career highlights. Skip This Part was insane, Mine is criminally underrated, and this is giving a mixture of both so far. LOVE.

Hopefully this comes out as planned. I actually like all the songs that got dropped, standouts are FUFN, Silent Disco, Plastic Box. The weakest for me were Unconditional + Headache but I still think they could be worked on and come out great. I wouldn't be mad with all the dropped songs as a debut album, I just want her to get it out there already! Y'all crazy if you think it wouldn't be cost effective, Kelly does not come with a huge touring production and she doesn't have to bring all those people that's her choice, there's local bands, makeup people, stylists etc. She just doesn't want to.

It only takes 7/8 hours to fly to Europe. She could legit fly over do a show and be back in NY within a day. She just chooses to do other things, but its a conscious choice, its not geographical.

It's a combination of both their faults. It's just sad, and funny, when you consider songs like MKIA and HBS were bigger hits in the UK than they were in the U.S - the audience was still here for her. Labels should have taken note and pushed more singles overseas. But when the Xmas album dropped and there was no international promo I knew the writing was on the wall. We all know Kelly can be (or used to be) a little lazy/complacent at the popstar/chart game, but considering how she's been growing her celebrity lately with The Voice, the talk show, movies, collabs, music projects - it's just strange that no one around her has reminded her that she has a legit fanbase WW. And I get the kids thing, but she literally said herself that her kids love travelling and they keep going away to visit new places. Plus, she could easily schedule a show when she doesn't have the kids. For example, with the huge success of UTT in the UK, they should have got her to do a Xmas TV special, tied it in with a 1 off concert here, there is like 5 or 6 huge celebrity Xmas shows here every year. She could easily do a WW tour as well, but just do 1 date in certain areas, it would give her time to travel inbetween with kids.

I can't lie i'm so happy for her and everything she's achieved but I'm so sad that she's just completely abandoned her fans outside the U.S. Next week is the 15 year anniversary since the last time she performed in the UK...... not even a ******* Xmas show when UTT is a huge smash here. It's such a slap in the face.
