I went on Minfinity and said let's keep streaming the album more and more so that the US no.1 is secured since Olivia's numbers are close and I was immediately jumped by them and accused of 'scare tactics' and 'where are the receipts that olivia's close" 💀 Like what's wrong with that site? You can't even say "let's keep streaming so we can secure that no.1" like are we not supposed to want her to do well? Tho this has a great Metacritic score, it deserves a much higher one. Olivia's new album having a higher score feels homophobic. Reviewers nowadays just give great scores to everything, back in the day you really had to earn it. Now they're scared of pushback from stans online and often just base it on how popular or unpopular something is. In no way does Taylor's Midnights for example deserve a higher score.
