  1. Also, her tour hasn't started yet. These songs will not only stay stable as they already have since album release, they may grow further.
  2. Lack of radio support is what's limiting the peaks of these songs on Billboard, but they're undeniably huge hits already. This will be the biggest era of a pop girlie this year. the cure: 372M, +3M daily -> projected to end the year with over 700 million streams (peaked at #5 on Billboard Hot 100 -> will likely not re-peak on the chart but will have the most streams from all singles when all is said and done). drop dead: 476M; +2M daily -> projected to end the year with over 700 million streams (peaked at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 -> will likely not re-peak). stupid song: 293M; +2.7M daily -> projected to the the year with over 600 million streams (peaked thus far at #11 on Billboard Hot 100 -> good chance to re-peak within Top 10 since it is growing in radio support). All 3 songs will cross 1 billion streams by summer of 2027. In addition, the album tracks are doing well too (honeybee, maggots for brains, expectations will all end the year with over 200M streams each).
  3. Any clips from this last show? I saw she performed nowhere, nobody.
  4. HTIMYLM is #4 on overall radio and still growing. 1 = Taylor Swift - I Knew It, I Knew You (From "Toy Story 5") 80 1 (x43) 81.44 +0.01 4 82.26 38 81 117 20 2 = Tame Impala - Dracula - JENNIE Remix 204 2 (x3) 67.12 +0.12 3 68.77 40 3 = Bruno Mars - Risk It All 155 2 (x13) 66.68 +0.07 5 74.45 95 67 166 18 4 = Ariana Grande - hate that i made you love me 84 4 60.90 +0.73 4 60.90 79 12 25 11 5 = STELLA LEFTY - Boston 65 5 55.65 +0.31 3 55.65 15 7 18 4 6 = Olivia Rodrigo - drop dead 128 6 52.44 +0.04 3 52.44 21 110 30 7 = Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun 173 5 49.28 -0.32 3 50.96 121 68 28 8 = Luke Combs - Be By You 97 8 48.45 -0.05 1 48.81 74 104 51 9 +1 Ella Langley - Choosin' Texas 283 4 43.76 +0.38 3 59.68 8 1 2 6 10 -1 Bailey Zimmerman - Chevy Silverado 184 9 43.35 -1.36 1 46.49 167
  5. Oh god... we weren't ready to lose her yet. Dolly represents actual American excellence: hard work, resilience, justice for all.
  6. Glad she did Like I Do tonight. I believe they're still filming at the O2. So from petal it seems the songs that will hopefully make it into a tour doc are: HTIMYLM Petal Kiss me Bad thing Like I do Not bad at all - though I really hope she sneaks more petal performances in there because it'll keep powering interest in the new album to have those songs immortalized. I'm not sure if they were filming in Montreal... but those performances on Oh Well and Stay that we have the live recordings for were incredible. Even though Freak/Warning signs are not getting as many streams as some of the other songs - I think they would add dimension to the documentary.
  7. As mentioned above: people listening to the music they already bought on iTunes, physical CDs and vinyls - not streaming. She's been away from the public eye for a minute. As soon as she releases new music or goes on a new tour, the hits will grow in streams a la Taylor and Ari-mania.
  8. Agree I was there London N1 and Rain on Me went hard. Everyone on the floor was jumping.
  9. How is this comparing streams-wise compared to Positions at this time?
  10. Bigger "than Olivia's entire career": Taylor: The Fate of Ophelia 1,605,525,334 2,168,587 Olivia's hits bigger than Ophelia: drivers license 2,927,639,534 945,657 good 4 u 2,705,193,975 578,497 traitor 2,410,891,888 887,131 deja vu 2,372,852,128 998,441
  11. @By the Water, I don't know, the standard seems to be the same... You seem pretty sad singles: drop dead 447,520,207 2,387,490 the cure 333,843,235 3,086,375 stupid song 257,752,914 2,874,155 TLOAS singles: The Fate of Ophelia 1,605,525,334 2,168,587 Opalite 846,259,722 1,082,582 Elizabeth Taylor 387,434,802 350,927
  12. 10 = Olivia Rodrigo - the cure 90 1 (x1) 2,937,996 +22,717 19,751,336 +68,992 325,744,003 . 181 = Taylor Swift - I Knew It, I Knew You 76 1 (x1) 1,177,636 -10,755 8,461,048 -72,763 148,846,272
  13. Yes: this song's chart position is clearly heavily powered by radio payola. Being incredibly strategic has meant that even Taylor's "flops" are softened and end up being chart "successes" (i.e., this would not still be in Billboard Hot 100 top 10 if not for radio). Don't we wish all our faves were as strategic?
  14. Dangerous Woman and My Everything will likely hit 10b by end of year too.
  15. It's a classic. It will be one of the biggest songs of all time.
  16. After the way the public has been trying to debase Ariana recently, I don't think so. We actually have a few great options after letting HTIMYLM and petal ride out August/September. 'Like I Do' is a pretty short song - I think a strong feature could flesh it out and give it new layers. If we're going pop, Billie could seriously match this energy. I think The Weeknd or Kendrick would obviously elevate this too. Pair that with a haunting video with some production value and release in October to ride through Halloween and Fall. I would want Ari to commit to the horror aspects of the song. 'Oh Well' I think is a perfect last single before a hiatus. It's upbeat but introspective. It should not have a feature on it. The outro is perfect the way it is. I think if it concludes the darkness associated with this era and contrasts it with some opposite aesthetics - bright, more colorful, natural - it would contrast well. Of course, 'Bad Thing' is begging for a Weeknd feature lol. If he added some interesting melodies and lyrics, I think it would be a smash with longevity.
  17. Anyone have the full update?
  18. Is it true Oh Well is popping off on socials?
  19. Thing about Ariana as depicted by this chart is she doesn't need a huge opening week to have a successful album and era. She is consistent / has had incredible longevity. I think that's because she's so talented and dynamic. Even if the public can't relate to the music immediately, they come back around and sometimes find they relate to it at a different time. Ultimately, I think people will find their way to these songs even if they initially made a snap judgment about them because they were hoping for something else. Commercial hyper-success really does need an aligning of the stars. Just because the numbers are not astronomical right off the bat, doesn't mean a project should not be celebrated. A word on commercial success. I know we're all rooting for our favorites and we love to see the GP appreciate the music too. But trying to negate an artist's work because your fave is pulling in bigger numbers is juvenile. Why can't we keep it cute and supportive? Especially when an artist - who is a human being first and foremost - may have gone through through a lot to get to this point. In this case, I'm proud of Ariana. Petal has profound emotional expression and vulnerability (see 'kiss me', and 'nowhere, nobody'). She is experimenting with new sounds (see 'oh well' and 'bad thing'). Her lyricism is more evolved than its ever been (see 'freak' and 'warning signs'). I love the project and won't let others clearly trying to besmirch it for immature reasons ruin that.
  20. Wait can you do this with Like I Do? This is awesome. I needed those fuller ad libs and belts in the studio!
  21. I already bought the album to get Oh Well and Stay Live. Don't tell me I have to buy it again to get Like I Do and Petal!?
  22. Bought the iTunes album to get the lives of Oh Well and Stay. These live versions are absolutely stunning. Such a full and dark tone. She is belting harder than the studio - as is always the case with Ari. Anyone know if we will also get lives for other songs off Petal?
  23. That Taylor stan trying to throw shade on Oh Well lyrics when in the context of everything it's actually prophetic and so meaningful, but subtle. Not every song has to have a thousand metaphors with 14 characters in a love triangle plus a plot twist, to be impactful. "You were the hurricane and I was the storm gutter"-type-bullshit. You'd think that would be clear. I guess not. Oh Well. Oh Well: "I played all the parts I'm supposed to, right?" "It sucks because I love you for real" -> she loves making music and gifting it to the public, she loves interacting with the fans. "And I want to believe the love I never got is real" -> realizing the attention of the media was scrutiny not love (reminds me of "bee stuck in honey"). "So I find it in you" -> trying to choose to see the beauty in a relationship with the public. Choosing to find something that might not be there. Also referenced in: "Maybe this time can be different. I don't have to try to be responsible for things that just aren't mine." "But don't worry 'cause you'll keep getting breakup songs about you"-> see we can't be friends, hate that I made you love me, etc. Things are cyclical and always turn sour with Ariana and the media. And that has its limits. "Good things can replace dysfunction, obsession, friends I used to need. But now, the bad guys all go to hell" -> can a love for art and for music and performance replace scrutiny? "Thanks but I'll see you right out." "Good luck on your way to hell." -> trying to narrate someone's life when that is not the story they are trying to tell or the life they are trying to live is nefarious. She said if it's true someone is struggling, constantly commenting and shoving that narrative in their face every time you see them can be dangerous. "Good luck darling. Can't stop growing so away from you" -> reminds me of "find my way from you like flowers from a tomb". Surviving and thriving but having to leave what's toxic. "Let's see who I can be without you" -> realizing she might need to step away to disengage the public and be free of its narrative. To be truly herself. And hopefully to be well. And the outro of the song is truly emotional and cathartic - the strings starting beneath the electronic instrumental and then swelling louder and louder. Ilya smashed. Been dancing around to it and releasing stress. I don't need Oh Well or any of the other songs to be appreciated by the GP or to get to #1 on billboard or get a Grammy to know that it is music that moves me.
  24. What the hell is this? That's forcing a diagnosis on someone. Disgusting and unacceptable.
  25. The public's reaction is disgusting. There's a difference between being concerned and forcing a narrative of sickness on someone. "Society, desperate for remedy. Empathy, fix this reality. You know, I don't believe I belong."
