  1. Who is "y'all"? That video is clearly remembered by some people if people are wearing it as a Halloween costume. It's sold as a Halloween look now:
  2. More like Melody lately.
  3. Christina. Dua's biggest hits are New Rules, Don't Start Now, Levitating and Cold Heart. Christina's first album alone spawned that many hits.
  4. Isn't that a better question for insecure Shakira stans? They're always bashing Karol on Twitter and IG. It's embarrassing to see these 40 year olds making it their life mission to fume about a Gen Z act.
  5. She has issues. Her one-sided feud with Christina was always so strange and it's even stranger that the public (and even pop music stans) sided with her when she was clearly an insecure bully. She was understandably angry that Ron Fair and Interscope pushed so hard to have Christina get the difficult parts of Lady Marmalade, but admitted later that it was a label issue and not really Christina's fault. Despite that: She put Christina in headlock when greeting her, but claimed it was "playful." She heckled and bullied Christina from behind the camera while she filmed her parts of the music video. She "accidentally" sat in Christina's assigned chair during production. She claims that Christina swung at her at a club, but Christina says she tried to kiss her. I'm inclined to believe to Christina because Britney said that Christina tried to kiss her at a nightclub also. She started another long feud with her collaborator Linda Perry just for working with Christina. She claims it's because Linda started working with other people in general (which would be just as pathetic), but it's not true. She was specifically livid because Linda decided to work with Christina and gave her "Beautiful." She choked and sexually dominated a blow up doll of Christina during her 2004 tour and sang "Beautiful" to her.
  6. There is nothing "ignorant" about debating what the word "international" means. A handful of countries does not make one "international." Having success in countries outside your own native region is not "international." The word "international" means around the world. While Thalia's feats are impressive, it's not really around the world. And yes, her music's limited success in the countries you listed is due to the popularity of the novelas she's been in. Even Barbara Mori is recognized to some in a few non-Latin American countries thanks to Rubi, but no one is going to call is an "international" star. And my opinion above has nothing to do with favoring Paulina.
  7. Amanda Bynes faced accusations of racism and made racially charged remarks during public social media meltdowns, alongside scrutiny over past on-set incidents. [1, 2, 3] Controversial Incidents and Social Media Statements Twitter Remarks: In 2013, Bynes directed offensive statements toward public figures like Rihanna, telling her she looked "ugly tryin to be white" and making further derogatory comments. Photographer Confrontations: During the same period in New York, Bynes engaged in public verbal altercations with photographers, using racially charged language when referring to a Black photographer, which she later defended online. The Amanda Show Allegations: In 2024, during the documentary Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, former co-star Raquel Lee Bolleau alleged that Bynes repeatedly spat in her face during a sketch. While some viewers and commentators on platforms like Reddit discussed the incident through the lens of potential on-set racism, others noted that Bynes was a young child at the time and that responsibility lay primarily with the production environment and power dynamics on set. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] TMZAmanda Bynes -- Provoked by D-Bag Photog, Calls Him 'An U...Amanda Bynes showed a TON of restraint when dealing with a paparazzo who clearly crossed the line with her this afternoon ... but she did call him "an ugly black man."
  8. Not denying that fact, but the Philippines and a few Arab countries is NOT "international." This is like when fans of a certain American singer call her "massive" in Asia when she was just successful in Japan, Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan.
  9. Valid point. She did it before Ricky, Shakira, J.Lo, Madonna, Jason Derulo, Flo Rida and Beyonce jumped on the bandwagon.
  10. Why would Kim and Ashley be there? This is a solo gig, not a PCD performance.
  11. Why are they arching their flat asses out like that?
  12. Where? In the Philippines and some Arab countries thanks to soap operas? Paulina >
  13. It did not. She and other elder Latin pop stars collaborated with him in 2015-17 to get a career boost since he was trendy then.
  14. Maybe Carmit runs that account
  15. What "yachting phases" are you referring to?
  16. Mestizo/Castizo phenotypes aren't considered white in the Anglosphere. Do you also consider Jennifer Lopez white? I guess Nikki Hayley and Freddie Mercury also?
  17. Sabrina Bryan's father is not white
  18. Ugh, I wish they'd just bring a NY date back. I'm sure they'd sell something especially with some promo.
  19. Wished they performed this before announcing a tour. I still hope they do some shows in major cities like NY. Would love to see them.
  20. Nicole Scherzinger Charli XCX Freddie Mercury/Queen Lara Raj/Katseye
  21. Baby Boy sounds Indian/South Asian, not Arab/Middle Eastern.
  22. You should give it a chance. It's one of their biggest hits.
  23. Jai Ho is not Middle Eastern. India/South Asia is not in the Middle East. Anything from East Asia and even the Southern Europe, Balkans, Eastern Europe, etc. is considered "ethnic" also. No one considers things from Anglosphere to be "ethnic" because no one thinks western people have culture.
