*DEBUTS

A chart battle for #1 just might be brewing between U2 and Taylor Swift. Interscope’s rock icons have dropped Songs of Experience, their follow-up to 2014’s Song of Innocence, along with a ticket bundle. Swift’s reputation, meanwhile, just became available for streaming on all DSPs; her SEA may well spike as a result. Meanwhile, Nashville hero Chris Stapleton arrives with a potent sequel of his own, From A Room: Vol. 2. Here’s how things look for now, but you’ll want to check in regularly.

U2 (Interscope) 175-195k SPS, 170-190k album
Chris Stapleton (Mercury Nashville) 110-125k, 95-110k
Miguel (ByStorm/RCA) 30-35k, 11-14k

They expect Taylor to increase that much? seems unlikely considering its Spotify numbers (and I don't expect them to increase?)

Chris Stapleton (Mercury Nashville) 110-125k, 95-110k

these are underwhelming aren't they

I think U2 is getting the #1

They are probably overestimating Taylor's streaming numbers. I don't see Reputation jumping from 157k to 195k SPS

Taylor streaming numbers are not doing well :jonny: Legend U2 will get #1

Amazing numbers for Chris, considering he has no radio support. Well, they're playing a song from his last album so there's that

Miguel at 14k pure :skull: I predicted around 55-60k for him given that Sky Walker is doing well, unlike Coffee. His streaming numbers are solid though thanks to SW

I want Miguel to do Frank Ocean numbers. He is so artistic and makes quality music, where is his fanbase?

same.:deadbanana2:

I'm not from the US so it doesn't matter  .:'(

also he made some comments about the black community and they hate him

How is Taylor going to increase after black friday? They are so messu with the predictions lately. U2 will clearly go #1

I didn't know what to expect from U2, but it surprises me anyway.

Miguel tho... Sky Walker is doing well, what a disaster.

Chris Stapleton is quite low too...

Yes, I do remember he also made comments about only having women in his front row and not men.

bundle?

yes

Every ticket purchased will include one (1) copy of U2’s new album, "Songs of Experience." Be on the lookout for a separate email with instructions around how you can redeem your album(s). One album per ticket.

chris looks good esp as this is 2nd album this year. i mean, compare jt's 20/20 and 20/20 2.

2017 country

217 kenny (2nd wk 51)

202 chris (2nd wk 66)

139 zac brown (2nd wk 23)

134 shania (2nd wk 14)

98 tim and faith

94 thomas (2nd wk 20)

103 is the mid-point for chris which would put him t5 for the country year.

He deserves so much better. He's been consisten with his releases and he always serves quality.

Taylor would (rightfully) get completely massacred by media if she did a ticket bundle. :deadbanana:

Making your fans pre-order the album to get higher in line for tickets, then including another album with ticket purchases.
