The first single from GAYLE's debut album 'Observing Chaos'

Gayle is embracing a bright new chapter with the release of "Junebug!," an infectious pop anthem that introduces the next phase of her career ahead of her long-awaited debut album, 'Observing Chaos,' arriving later this year via Atlantic Records. Co-written and co-produced by Gayle, the vibrant new track celebrates the people, memories, and moments that make June her favorite month of the year.

"'Junebug! is about capturing my love for the month of June," Gayle shares. "Everyone in my family's birthdays are in June (including mine)… and duh, Pride Month! So every year the whole month is a continuous party. This song was made to withstand all things fun, exciting, and tiring. It's for when you're getting ready to go out, it's on while you're out doing things you love with people you love, and it's always there the day after a party to remind you of how much fun you had."

The single offers another glimpse into 'Observing Chaos,' a debut album shaped by the personal growth Gayle experienced following the global success of her multi-platinum breakout hit "ABCDEFU." The collection explores the highs and lows of early adulthood, touching on love, heartbreak, trust, self-discovery, friendships, and the whirlwind years between ages 17 and 21 with refreshing honesty.

To celebrate the album, Gayle has also launched a new fan community, The G Spot, and will hit the road for a special listening tour, giving fans an opportunity to hear the record before its release through intimate album playback events and exclusive experiences.

Already recognized as one of pop's most distinctive young voices, Gayle has toured alongside Taylor Swift, Tate McRae, P!nk, Cyndi Lauper, AJR, and My Chemical Romance while also building an impressive résumé as a songwriter. Beyond her own catalog, she co-wrote and performed "Butterflies" for the 'Barbie' soundtrack and has written for artists including Kelly Clarkson and Roddy Ricch.

I remember when abcdef happened and a bunch of ATRLers had her as their AVI and used her to trash on other pop girls

"New chapter" and it sounds the exact same as her other songs

She seems like such a sweetheart so I can never root against her. I hope something from this album sticks because having abcdefu be your biggest song is tragic

A debut album only now? Girl even the likes of Olivia and Lorde managed to release multiple albums since ABCDEFU came out.
