Do you take peptides?

Featured Replies

their sudden adoption and the body image expectations on the younger gen scares me

There's not enough evidence to recommend their use and production. Right now they're a waste of money and can even hurt your health.

Aren't they illegal and super risky?

All I've heard is people getting them from the black market

GLP-1 peptides can cause stomach paralysis and slows down gastric emptying which can exacerbate dyspepsia or ibs. theres also unknown long-term side effects because the drugs are fairly new. i wouldn't necessarily say they're crazy good for "the health" unless you have diabetes or deal with medical obesity.

Yes I forgot to add most*

I'm seeing people taking stuff that hasn't even make it through clinical trials

i heard people that use them are ahead of the curve, like listening to charli or sabrina in 2012

Tbh it could be true, but idk I don't like to risk my body like that

Edited by Trent W

when I actually make my protein shakes at home instead of buying them from 7/11, I add peptide powder to them

as someone who's worked in the pharma industry before I would not risk it just yet, we need more information
