I think everything is getting worse. Shows are getting too expensive for the experience you get. It's not just shows. Movie theaters are now too expensive and even stuff like CGI is getting worse

I don't remember the last time a videogame impressed me as well while they get more and more expensive too.

Tv shows take longer to come out with a new season and when they do they bring less and less episodes

The post covid boom that helped all industries is now turning against them in a time people are getting their rents more and more expensive. Life is getting more and more expensive overall. Ain't no one got time for the pussycat dolls in 2026 lmao

Prices have been absolutely insane, people have lost their minds. It was bound to happen at some point.

I could never justify to trade my earnings of a week of work for a $700+ concert ticket that lasts two hours.

Life is expensive and back in the day tours came to your city or a city near you now you have to travel to LA or NYC to attend, that's food, hotel and flights expenses when before you only pay for the parking.

Besides the high prices, they really gotta stop with the lazy Residencies. I mean they're absolutely fine for Vegas or people like Celine who cant/shouldn't travel as much.... But most artists are only using them to cut on travel costs and maximize earnings.... And yeah that includes my fave I know. It needs To stop.

When I think of it, I'm thinking the industry is starting to see the effects of concert fatigue. We all know touring is the only way artists make money so they've been touring more, but the demand isn't matching up anymore with higher prices, inflation, economy etc.

The music industry as a whole really needs to invest in other streams of income because I think we're already seeing a plateau.

The actual arena or stadium experience is also so frustrating, like you're taking a flight. Heavy security, checking of bags, overpriced food and drink. Whether you go for a concert or sporting event, people don't want to deal with the hassle. Also, the possibility of your date getting canceled is a thing too.

ofc we're not as high as we were in a post-2021 world for live experiences, but the tours that are being cancelled now would've probably been cancelled then too.

Artists and their labels are just delulu. They expect people to pay half the price of a Beyonce/Taylor ticket without having a fraction of their pull. They expect people to pay $90-$100 when they had one successful era 10 years ago. Be for real. Aint no one going to pay that much.
