  1. It's kinda natural, people love to hype new artists, but whenever they get big enough and impose a "threat" to other artists' positions, they get less support.
  2. Now that I've let it sink in... What an album. It reminds me a little of how TTPD was received, and I think it's gonna take some time for people to fully absorb it. I see him as a Lana Del Rey type of artist, which is a rare case in Brazil. He's very relevant without relying on catchy tunes/charts.
  3. can't promise anything but I could try dm me
  4. OMG My baby This is gonna be one for the books, I can feel it
  5. I mourn this hypothetical album and what it could've done to her career, but I think she's tired of feeling resentful about that era and I respect where she's going in her life, she seems happy and fulfilled. but this: bionic elastic love birds of prey monday morning my girls you lost me lift me up i am bobblehead little dreamer would've stomped
  6. she was actually becoming one before everything that happened to her career. she had the highest grossing tour by a female artist in 2007, surpassing The Beyoncé Experience. touring was also a very different thing back then...
  7. She doesn't need them and she's totally aware of that, she's been a relevant presence in music for 13 years now... But she can with the right song.
  8. expectations is also excellent
  9. love this from the get go what's wrong with me is gonna be the biggest hit from this album. robert added so much feeling to it
  10. maybe because of my age, but Thank U Next era felt much bigger to me than how it's being discussed here. all eyes were on her, the #1 #2 #3 on Billboard, thank u next going to 7 rings, her aesthetic that era defined a whole generation. it feels bigger to me than a lot of eras cited here.
  11. ofc we're not as high as we were in a post-2021 world for live experiences, but the tours that are being cancelled now would've probably been cancelled then too.
  12. the song is excellent. it's mind boggling seeing people comparing this to whatever they are comparing this to, 'cause it's so obvious where she's getting her references from and she's using it gracefully... and it's also tiring seeing the same gays expecting her to release a bop over and over again and then criticizing her for not doing what they expected her to...
  13. The tour started September of last year, so it's only natural that the hype online died a bit - and tbh you guys are just old, because the David, Green Light and Supercut segments went viral several times... As for my experience, it was one of the best shows of my life as well. The use of the stage, the lightning and the pacing were all very well done and she knows how to make people feel seen, which for me it's the ultimate statement of being a true artist. I'm super excited to see if she's gonna bring new music 'cause she has a lot of shows this year besides the ultrasound
  14. what are you guys talking about? this will sell out in minutes... so out of touch
  15. from a person who works closely to the music industry: arenas are way more profitable than stadiums, like insanely more… live nation will always push for them she could do stadiums ofc if she wanted to, but it's a lot of cross interests
