really excited for this record, don't know why cuz i already liked it before but she did it again has been in heavy rotation for me the past few weeks like idk what clicked

I would've died if she had collaborated with Bella Alubo, Gyakie, Leigh-Anne or even Naomi Sharon

their sounds would fit so well imo and they have some similarities in their genres and soundscape

Tyla's never been carried by features. The features from her last album did nothing for her. All her biggest hits are solo. Plus she has a so bf with Cardi that flopped so I doubt Cardi would make a difference

Is It, Chanel, and She Did It Again all went #1 in my household. Can't wait for the album and my signed CD.

I forgot about this and I like her previous album and Channel. Let me pre-save it on Spotify so I don't forget again.

YouTube Music added a presave feature finally (not that it does much). I'm really looking forward to this album. I am relistening to her debut and there's some really gorgeous sounds on there. So far I wish the visuals were better for this era

Excited for Friday but this roll out has been a mess. She completely lost steam and momentum after Chanel. Chanel was doing well organically and they fumbled it hard.

I went to the listening party last night and I am very curious to see what song they push next

I am a Tyla stan and no lol the snippet Kiss she has been teasing (i am obsessed with the instrumental and its not in the song a lot) I loved every single song on her debut (my least faves with priorities and back to you)

I also did not hear Cardi B on Kiss so maybe they just played the version without her and will keep that for release day? I would assume maybe they push Kiss ft Cardi then release a deluxe with more poppy/upbeat songs

I went to a listening thing at a record store last night.

Another incredible album. If you want first album vibes, you are not getting them. You can tell she's really looking to grow her sound and carve her lane in pop. The big choir hooks like water, push 2 start, is it etc. isn't as present which is great. She's really switching it up.

Some quick notes I took as I listened. It wasn't the loudest. Can't wait to experience on my own headphones, gym, car, and out on loooooud speakers with bass. The album catches the essence of the neon graphics etc.

Is it love should've never been a single or on the album in my opinion.

That Girl - dancehall smooth sexy

Kiss - beat switch immediately

Fairy tale - rework of the original but on par with

Double blind - dancehall like rih first two albums

Feel something - kinda dubstep smooth

Right now - dubish chill too real sexy

Mr nonchalant - bop dancehall, she talking her big stuff

Crazy of me - amapiano

I don't care - amapiano

Hot tubs - sexy

Also I know people at the London listening party said they heard that selfish song but it def wasn't any of the songs on the tracklist and it wasn't played. Maybe it's the bonus track on some editions.
