Multiple US scientists dead or missing

Featured Replies

"At least 10 scientists, military officials, and employees connected to America's nuclear and space programs have gone missing or died since 2023. Rep. Eric Burlison reacts to alarming cases, including: • A retired Air Force general who vanished from his New Mexico home • A NASA-linked astrophysicist killed outside his residence • A rocket scientist who disappeared while hiking in California Many of these cases lack clear public explanations, and the FBI has declined to comment. Burlison calls for answers and transparency as questions continue to grow around these incidents."

I've seen a few of Avi Loeb's interviews, I admire how unafraid he is to call out the government & talk about the things they hide (mostly regarding science & life beyond earth).

This is concerning, but sadly not surprising.

It's odd that Trump suddenly cares about scientists and researchers after nearly demolishing the science and research branches of every federal government agency, leading many of our top scientists to seek work abroad in Europe, ME, and Asia.

I've seen these stories around and obvsl the current regime in USA is capable of this but my question is simply: why? Did these scientists work on sth that was a threat to the regime? What could be the reason they made them "disappear"? That's what I don't get.

I think a majority of the current conspiracies surrounding these disappearances and murders actually place the blame on other countries who want the U.S.'s alleged information on UFOs or want to delay the U.S.'s progress in the UFO field. Rep. Burlison (R-MO) is actually one of the main people in government pushing Trump and the FBI to investigate this as a conspiracy connected to China, Iran, or Russia. He's a wacko in Congress who has spent a lot of his time introducing UFO-based legislation. He thinks they might be angels. skull

There's always conspiracies that some secret U.S. agent kills scientists because they get too close to discovering something the government doesn't want them to, they see some classified information they shouldn't have, etc. I don't think that's the case this time around. It's actually the U.S. government trying to place the blame on other countries.

I do think foul play could be involved with some of these, but I don't think they are all connected. U.S. laboratories are huge and a lot of the supposed connections between these people are intentionally embellished. One of these people wasn't even a scientist but an administrative assistant at a national lab. Dr. Loureiro at MIT's murder (along with the Brown shooting) just seems like a personal, jealous vendetta from a failed academic to me.

First of all, let's not call the US govt a "regime". Dump and his ugly fascist cronies were democratically voted into office. They could easily be voted out of office if strong enough opponents decide to run for president in the next election. Dump himself cannot legally be president ever again.
Regardless, these scientists are not being targeted by the US govt. These reports, and the US govt, suspect that top US scientists and researchers might be targeted by foreign governments, like Iran or Russia, who have a history of doing exactly that.

I'm calling the US "government" whatever I want lmao The world has been suffering because of this current regime for over 10 years and will continue to do so because if you think that this regime will let the US americans have non-rigged elections ever again, you've got another thing coming

and it doesn't matter if Trump can't run for a third term; what's coming up behind him is worse and you know it.

I can accept that the US regime isn't targeting those scientists, maybe noone is, maybe other countries are, maybe all coincidence.

And since you're pointing out other nations' "history of doing exactly that" - same goes for the USA.

It's okay to just admit you're delusional? Dump's total time in office will be 8 years, and we're not even close to that yet. If you were being terrorized by him when he wasn't even in office, maybe see a therapist. Calling it a regime just makes you look dumb considering you're creating your own special definition of a word for the sake of your feelings and emotions and still fail at making any semblance of a point. There is no one worse than Dump, no one has his fat orange charisma nor his acumen to make people listen to whatever he says. Not Vance, not anyone that works in his current admin. I keep hearing "what comes next is worse" and yet no one worse than him has materialized. I do not think the GOP is capable of rigging an election anymore than the last several elections considering the independent nature of how each state counts votes and the bipartisan effort that goes into validating results. Considering this thread is about US scientists and researchers potentially being targeted by foreign nations, I'm going to stay on topic unlike whatever word salad you're going to come up with next. The US has and continues to do bad things, just like other large powerful nations. Civilians shouldn't be collateral damage, no matter the stakes.

"there is noone worse than Trump" oh trust me there is.

But whatever, I'll keep calling it a regime because that's what it is to me.

i think it has to do with aliens and discovering water on other planets. We're not alone and they want to keep that from surfacing.

wouldn't be surprised if it's something on clean energy (nuclear fission) / a way to get massive amounts of energy outside of oil/fossil fuels.

"Democratically elected" doesn't mean **** to the hundreds of millions of victims globally of the actions of the so called "leader of the free world's" bipartisan regime and its terrorist "military." the indigenous and black victims past and present of every regime would disagree with your notion of legitimizing such a regime's claims to be "democratic." Your personal disregard of the severity, magnitude, and number of the crimes of the US regime against its own people and the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Libya, Korea, Vietnam, Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, etc. (this list is incredibly LONG) negates your nonsense semantics argument with that other user…
