I agree, in the official snippet it is layered with synth and it doesn't sound like just a copy-paste sample. Overall I'm now I'm looking for this song more than just from the live version. Which I'm happy about

I think "Ride My Love" would be better title than just "Ride"

Ride My Love sounds more sexy and sensual and erotic ...

Ride snippet sounds great and like a satisfactory course-correct after ICGUTT, but I do wish it was mixed a bit differently. Seems like some really cool synths going on under the "put your loving arms around me" bit that aren't nearly loud enough and could really elevate the song if they were easier to hear. Maybe the Dolby Atmos mix will help.

I wonder if they released "Ride" snippet (I still think it should be called "Ride My Love" but OK) because album pre-orders are low and they want to show people that ICGUTT is not sonical representation of overall album, or they will move to second single very fast

I also agree it is not good to rush thing but rather promote the current single anywhere they can because it is not bad song at all

She should be playing Kylie type chart games, she has a loyal fanbase. Alt covers with special bonuses, a webstore digital with bonus tracks etc, then a re-release/deluxe before her tour.

But I'm sure she's selling fine, Alison Goldfrapp is on the same management and her first single releases came quite close together too, like 3 weeks apart. Maybe it's just their pattern.

I dont think they understand really meaning of the alternative cover because in this case "alternative cover" photo is in gatefold of standard version and vice versa. You dont get any additional image ordering alternative cover. Actually I think standard version is nicer because the alternative cover is horizontal and is bigger on gatefold format inside

They really should use that blue ICGUTI single cover as alternative and dont waste such a lovely image for a small streaming format
