This is NOT the Nicki Minaj we all admired and idolized a decade ago. Nicki right now is in a very dark place, she is clearly lost and not mentally well. Nicki always supported the minority and LGBT community through out her career but the situation right now in the US is so dangerous that even a rap star of her caliber is NOT safe from the quasi-nazi administration. She's clearly desperate to not be targeted by these folks because she's an illegal immigrants whose very life is at stake. Are the things she's doing now the right thing? Absolutely not but when survival instinct kicks in, things become blurry and hazy and all we can think of is to save ourselves. Nicki needed help, lots of it; but she unfortunately chose the wrong side.

People don't know or care about other things when it comes to their own survival, the current Nicki is blinded by despair. Let's be a little kinder and try to understand her situation.
