I haven't listened to GO but to be fair, this is the usual reaction to a new BP single, everyone hates it on the first listen and in a week everybody's stanning the HYLT meltdowns were glorious

I expected the bare minimum and I'm still disappointed… just disband at this point, please

I tried to be open-minded and I like those other singles but this just sounds messy. The other comment about it being an Aespa song is pretty accurate

No reason to listen to this when all of their solo efforts are far higher quality.

GO sounds like some Call of Duty trailer music

To be fair, GO as a title track sounds very "new and fresh" for them, but the mixed reactions i saw feel like they didn't expect it to have an empty drop as a chorus again or they expected another dance track like JUMP

People who dragged BORN PINK to hell and back will look back on it in such fondness after listening to this EP, i fear...

I actually really like GO apart from the mid rap verse... I wasn't expecting the negativity JUMP and GO are both good imo, the rest of the tracks sound like every valid criticism thrown towards BP amplified. They should've just released a greatest hits album with JUMP and/or GO as an add-on or disbanded after Born Pink. This is tragic.

The songs are okay i guess? I don't hate them but i could live without them.

Go is a gag while the rest is... fine? Me and my girls sounds like an Alter Ego outtake, Fxxkboy sounds like a rosie outtake. And they actually might be

You can tell this was thrown together at the last minute for some quick $$ but they're doing better as solo artists and will continue to do so. I'll wait for their next albums as soloists while we get some group songs every 4 years for some quick bops

A compilation album right before the tour with some new songs would avoid criticism and it would make sense. But releasing a pointless EP with no hype after the supposed tour for it with ok-ish songs was definitely a choice

They must have hundreds of vaulted songs. It would have been SO easy to put together an EP before the tour instead

Aside from JUMP, maybe GO, none of these songs are objectively memorable/good.

JUMP and GO are something different for them. they should've made a few more songs like this and this could've been one of their best releases tbh

Me and My is obvi an Alter Ego reject, and not a good one. they should've made half of the song in korean or maybe should've just cut this from the album cause

GO is fine. not as good as JUMP but i appreciate that they tried something new for them

M&M, Champion and Fxxxboy are typical blackpink album tracks. kind of forgettable but I don't think they're horrible

overall this is an underwhelming era. it's obvious that yg's priority has been cashing out the blackpink brand and they wouldn't waste money on giving them the best resources to make high-quality music. also the girls haven't been putting their minds to group activities for a long time so i'm just glad they release something before the incoming hiatus

by the way did Skrillex participate in the production of GO? that drop sounds like something he would do
