I'm actually getting 4Minute flashbacks with this whole comeback, Skrillex co-producing the song, the song coming out in February, being very controversial among fans, it was also their first proper title track to miss the Top 10 on Gaon (let's see if GO follows suit, lol)... then in June they did not renew their contracts and officially disbanded (and all the other girls unfollowed Hyuna who was the only one to stay with Cube) and that was the very disappointing end for one of the biggest kpop girlgroups doing girlcrush concept... and that same month YG officially announced BP's debut for August kinda poetic that it has been 10 years since then and BP might be going out in a similar fashion, lol... but I'm gonna be optimistic, GO will SMASH and they will release another EXCELLENT mini album on their anniversary... before going on an indefinite hiatus

I'm glad we got sooo many different angles and looks at the physical album cause that's exactly what we wanted to see btw, have y'all heard the Hourglass version got delayed for 2 months? how fun and exciting!

it's so interesting how in all of their solo interviews they've been talking about how much more confident they are, how they have this new flare, they needed time to express themselves... only to come to some dubstep empty chorus title track, and jisoo in barely any of the songs, which i guess is a win as the shame of the songs isn't hers to bare.

jennie's rap sounds awful and me and my girls is awful from beginning to end, i'll be very curious to see whether lisa is a credited writer on it, as it sounds like an alter ego reject, as others have said. it'll be interesting to see how the girls will respond to the fan outrage and poor reviews that'll inevitably come out

there's definitely no new album coming in August, my VERY optimistic prediction is a Best Of album with maybe two new songs... tbh, I wouldn't mind having the pre-The Album singles on vinyl... but I also think there might be nothing happening in August
