Can you read you made the 2nd post in the thread I made the 4th post in the thread? Do you expect me to quote everyone else?

Looooool while I agree that calling anyone an NPC doesn't make sense they do actually exist guys

The people that have 0 going on in their brain and you can tell they're just here for the ride like….they exist

OP logging off after making a messy thread concept ygLWihO.gif

OP very much LOGGED IN and ready to whack all the NPC deniars, thank you very much.

What a lot of people like me describe as "NPC behavior" is not necessarily said to dehumanize others and pedestalize oneself. The irony is that this NPC discourse (or at least my intention) is moreso calling out the all-too-common toxic social norms, walking on eggshells to people please mentality, and a plethora of unwritten rules that "you should know by now" that seem to be a widespread phenomenon in a lot of social constructs. Like you say the wrong word in a conversation (that is harmless, mind you) and it seems as though you've lost someone's attention and interest for good.

I can give you an example. Just recently I wished someone who I just met a merry Christmas and I jokingly asked him "So what are we having for dinner tonight?" That's the ghosting- causing last sentence I suppose. It's as though I should have ended it just at "Merry Christmas" cause it just vibes better & perhaps in a couple of days he would message back.

Empathic people (who, again, don't think that they're the most important people in the world) have been noticing these little unfair "off-script" moments for quite some time and are just about tired of navigating this BS landscape of perfomative small-talk & shallow social interactions where one "off" vibe or word is like stepping on a landmine. And if we're being 100% with ourselves, a lot of people out here have changed for the worse since covid so of course one is going to notice that people have more performative and expect you to be as well (especially extroverts who live on autopilot). And yeah, I just wrote a whole paperback & y'all will deal (or not read it but be happy for me or sorry it happened).

Maybe you're just very insecure, lack confidence, overly-self conscious, and other people can sense this from a distance. It can show in the way you walk and carry yourself. It's a type of awkwardness you might not be aware of, but it is fixable behavior.

I think it depends on where u live. Most feggets here dragging you would feel exactly how u described in a place like Libya for example..

See post above. Thanks

And all of y'all "Maybe You're the Problem" posters give people too much credit & the benefit of doubt. Hopefully y'all aren't these same extroverts on autopilot (essentially NPCs) out here getting their egos bruised & short circuiting over introverted empaths not keeping up with contrived, cookie cutter, BS small talk acrobatics. Or LONG talk I should say cause ch...with the way some of y'all can go on for so long.... priceless

Ironically they feel like they're THE main characters of life with personality and traits and other people in it are just comparable to furniture. It's actually pretty narcissistic and a coping mechanism to the world ignoring their existence.

Just wrote a long post debunking this tired "you think you're so special" take. It's a few scrolls up ahead if you've got the fortitude. Give it a go, won't you fan?

Can you at least have an avi??? That's currently the most NPC behaviour i'm noticing here

he may have perceived it as too forward. It might have been presumptuous to expect dinner when you've only just met, unless I'm misinterpreting the situation

OP is a self-proclaimed "introverted empath" who believes his unzipped jacket makes everyone mad at him and asks people he just met "What are we having for dinner tonight?" then wonders why the unenlightened subhumans he empathizes with on a deeper level think that's weird.

This level of delusional narcissism should be studied in a controlled environment. Like a zoo.

No, I think I'm right about my assessment of you. You'd be better served by a therapist who can help you feel less paranoid and more comfortable in public/social situations. I'm also an introvert, and yet I don't have any of the issues you're describing.

Dude STFU. I love the ability of some of y'all to twist people's intentions on this site. One post & suddenly I need to be studied by a psychiatrist in a zoo? Are you okay? *****, be a little less liberal with your words, armchair psychiatrist, FOHahh

Okay, I'll do you one, you've got the right one kiddo (not calling you sir cause your post reads as nothing more than childish "please give at least 5 likes under my post" clout-chasing slop). @Rune is yet another user who thinks he's an "edgy" follower dogpiling on a user like @BrentB who he thinks is a weak link (little does he know though) being willfully obtuse, gaslighting AF, lacks the ability to arrive at the conclusion that people have a vast array of experiences in life and one anecdote may very well carry some merit to it and just leave it at that. He, and @Archetype, @Elementary & @BILLIONAIRE✘BOY are having mask-off moments and are high-key exactly what the OP just described, a miserable, cliquey, gaslighting, well would you know it NPCs, most-likely even narcissists, just like many "know-it-all" soulless gays out there who stand by a "compulsory athiesm" mindset, severely lacking in reading comprehension skills audaciously at that and has too much faith in people out there. If there's anyone that needs mental evaluation, it's your ole boy @Rune over here.

How's that, am I in the ballpark there?

Congrats on the 5 ahhreactions that you're gonna get from this post I guess .

Anyways I will highlight the posts that seem to understand the assignment as far as what I'm going for. Love that y'all didn't sink as low as attacking one's mental health, unlike some users. heart

on dating apps i do it all the time

having a convo with me on hinge will give u whiplash . i don't put up with the 'hey how are you' 'nice what you doing' 'cool what do you do for work' line of convo . i ask men when the last time they cried was and why , or something like that .

easy way to weed out the uninteresting ones bc the boring ones tend to just act offended that you've gone off script . sorry Todd but ive had the exact same convo you wanted to have , 1000+ times this year , and im over it !

if a guy has dead chat too i send them this survey that i fill out on my end a day or 2 after its death :

"This chat has DIED ☠️🏴‍☠️

Feedback Survey:

Unfortunately this chat hit a wall. I have put a cross next to every reason applicable below:

[ ] Low effort convo

[ ] Creepy/invasive/odd

[ ] Tedious/mind-numbingly uninteresting

[ ] Incompatible"

just so they know that they are the problem

The way I read it is people who are just on autopilot all the time. something generally seems off with them. Almost like they don't have human attributes at all. No thought in their head. I don't know how to articulate it any better.

boomertrlers showing their age by not knowing what an NPC is…but calling people NPCs is so… stupid

what you call the wrong cadence or "tone" when speaking with someone is your ability to socialize and/or read the room

if you genuinely don't know what's happening with your ability to interact with others, there's beautiful resources out there for people with autism who can get diagnosed no matter their age

if you do it deliberately just to make others uncomfortable….

Not everyone is an NPC but there's lots of actual NPC out there, especially online with the bots and all. Even in real life, there are actual NPCs just put here by our simulators and then there's real people who act like NPCs themselves, especially those going on autopilot
