Thoughts on Geese?

Featured Replies

They are at the top of basically every year end list of 2025 with their album Getting Killed. Do you like their music?

idk what it is but i find this guy so mysterious.

The album is......fine? Idk, I don't have any strong thoughts on it either way really

Oof this is grating and very unpleasant, much like the animal actually

I like their album and cameron's solo one a lot. taxes and love takes miles deserve the praise

Le Pays du Cocaine from their album is a nice song. I've listened to their stuff and Cameron's solo stuff but it's not something that I would go back to often.

I find them really overrated in online spaces but I guess they cater to a specific crowd that is too vocal.

They're cute, don't really have an issues whatsoever whenever I encounter them at a pond or lake

I didn't bother with them at first until I listened to Cameron's Heavy Metal which absolutely blew me away and so I was interested to see what they as a band did next. Originally didn't really wow me aside from a few moments, but it's grown on me tremendously since. I keep seeing people compare them to Radiohead and while I hear that (mostly in Cam's voice) I'm getting more Can than anything else. They would also edit long jams into shorter songs on their albums and I always love that loose feeling, basically hearing the song get written as they play.

Overall I really like the band and feel like they're pushing the envelope which is always welcome especially in today's bland music landscape.

I was gonna make a thread about this. Couldn't get into the album myself. "Bow Down" is quite nice though.

They aight but last years indie choice for best album (Magdalena Bay) was way better

why does this song sound like sth this guy that I was dating in 2012 when I was 22 and he was like in his early to mid 30s would play for me to prove to himself that his taste in music is superior...

(one time he asked me to stay seated at his kitchen table while he had to go get sth and then he came back with a bucket full of water and poured it over me and when I asked him wtf he's doing he said that he likes the way my shirt clung to my skin that way and another time we had gotten wasted at Oktoberfest and then the next morning I had the worst hangover ever and he made me watch Dancer In The Dark at like 11am and it literally triggered a depressive episode in me - MESS! so yeah, I feel like that's the type of stuff this band goes well with)

The song in the OP reminds me of TV Girl. It's okay.

Better than the birds of the same name.

HATE them. We used to have one as a pet when I was little and it chased me around my yard and bit the **** out of me.

Omg how can people eat geese? They're such beautiful beings and they mate for life

a bunch of them live near a pond by my apartment and they just walk in the middle of the road thinking they're hot ****! and they're mean!

heheh i know this is a band, i just wanted to share my thoughts on literal geese biggrin
