That's actually wild lmfao. She probably felt silly explaining this but it's refreshing to hear an artist be so honest about where their inspiration came from because I know inspiration strikes at the most nonsensical times but most musicians are too proud to be that honest.

I also have a theory that Katy Perry was inspired by Abracadabra and went in the studio with Justin Tranter and that's how Watch It Burn came to be because I remember her saying she was inspired by Abra around February when it came out and then she revealed that she worked on Watch It Burn and Bandaids in March of 2025.
