Born This Way songs sound amazing performed live. Went to the MAYHEM Ball and they were HIGHLIGHTS.

Born this way aged like fine wine. I love how the younger generation has fully embraced it. 

ROL vs. TFM was much harder, but for this I gotta say ROL for all.

Born This Way is nice but it would be equivalent to Madonna's 6th or 7th best. Nowhere near Ray Of Light for sure.

BTW is the best album of all time so it wins! 

BTW is timeless according to facts, so that. 

No pop girl album wins against Ray of Light, but that doesn't make Born This Way any less excellent

The disrespect to Madonna. Ray Of Light all the way, and it's not even close.

If we are including artists like Björk, Kate Bush, David Bowie as 'pop' this is debatable. 

Born this way album is like this meme in music industry 

 

They're both bad albums. I think I like 5 songs from each album ironically but I like the 5 from 'Ray of Light' more. 'Heavy Metal Lover' is a career highlight for GaGa though.

Even if you include those artists only Homogenic, Vespertine and Hounds of Love are on ROL's level. (I haven't really gone deep into Bowie's albums, but I was unimpressed with Ziggy Stardust, which allegedly is his most acclaimed album)

 

On topic: Stupid comparison. Madonna has like 7 albums better than BTW

As someone who loves long albums, BTW is lowkey a chore to get through. Especially with Queen's unnecessary censorship (I ******* hate labels that do that). Like gurl, just let her say "*****" who cares about a PA sticker. Born This Way (song) has not aged gracefully, but that's mainly the bridge's fault (chola or orient made is so bad), but it's still very impactful and holds up well otherwise. 
 

The only bad part of Ray of Light (album) is Candy Perfume Girl's repetition but honestly, it doesn't feel like a chore. Especially when you're sunk in deep after the euphoric Ray of Light (song). 
 

Personally, I think Ray of light wins. Its highs are amazing and its lows are extremely low compared to BTW. 
 

That being said, they're also two very different albums.
