The original album was good, but these new tracks are even better. Loved all of them.

I will definitely give this a listen as I haven't heard the standard edition yet either and "EDUCATION" has been on repeat!

Final Round is a little bit Piranha nachos for my taste but it's still nice! probably my least favorite of the new ones for the moment though 🫣

Angelina though… what a masterpiece the Don't Go Home without Me of this era and yet with such a different meaning behind it… with my current roommate mess I feel like I can unfortunately relate to Angelina's lyrics a lot hopefully my situation won't fully end up that way though!

Love Is a Game's melodies are making so much more sense now that I'm listening to it in my airpods tbh was more confusing-sounding only cause of my car's speakers I think. incredible pop song, truly

She really said "I'm sorry to those who didn't like or connect with PEP, here's a flawless album with a flawless deluxe, 21 tracks to make you forget PEP existed".

I relistened to the standard album before the deluxe as I always do. It's kinda funny how my favorites from the album (You're Killing Me, Piranha, Door, Alive Again) never changed and the songs I liked, didn't love, didn't really grow on me. Still a great album though.

These new songs are great! A lot of them are "more of the same" but maybe a bit more refined or in a slightly different style? Education is kinda slightly more upbeat YKM, Final Round = Piranha 2.0, The City is Failing has moments that sound like multiple other A6 songs, for example. Maybe Angelina is the most different from the base album, pretty devastating track too. Need some time to decide my favorites, but this is one of the better deluxes we've gotten in the past ~year or so.

In THE CITY IS FALLING I misheard "We're trying to pretend that we're ******* all-knowing" as "We're trying to pretend we don't **** but we know it" and for a sec I thought she was talking about how she got Anthony Padilla from Smosh's fine ass dick

The City Is Falling is like a top 5 Lights song ever, she's so insane for it it's like everything I've ever loved about her mixed together to be some beautifully swirly new wave song... it's PEAK nighttime pop it reminds me of so many other songs of hers (Drive My Soul, Where the Fence Is Low, Heavy Rope, Running with the Boys, Same Sea, Speeding, From All Sides, Beside Myself, You're Killing Me, White Paper Palm Trees, The Other Side of the Door...) but it's still perfectly unique somehow. it taps into that classic nostalgia she always does so brilliantly and yet it still feels new an instant classic fr
