I don't think Taylor Swift is the reason for the album to be flopped. It's one of the factors, yes, but the reason it is a flop because the GP didn't like the message of it, it's political and the album music quality itself isn't good. Katy music is always like that. She's the singles artist, not the album artist, imo.

its unfortunate bc that was of her best attempts at being taken seriously. also it had a few gems now the gp confused why she stuck in campy candyland.

Travis Scott's last album only charted for 1 week after debuting at #1 and barely sold anything. A #1 album can still be a flop.

The difference is that Travis used some tricks with inorganic elements to make it peak high but by the following week, it had dropped off the chart. so not the same.
