The fact it became her first and only #1 of the era - talent always wins!

It peaked at #1 on the Hot 100, Global Hot 200, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Norway and the UK.

It was among the top 10 biggest singles of the year in the UK and New Zealand.

Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it. :clap3:

This being the only Hot 100 #1 from the era is insane since it's probably the "least" successful among Espresso, PPP and Taste... but also WELL deserved :jonny5:

No Espresso peaked at #3 -  I think "I Had Some Help" was #1 that week and PPP debuted at #2 to go #1 the following week

This isn't true I fear, Espresso peaked #3 and Taste was blocked by A Bar Song

She did have #2, #3 and #4 on Short n Sweet release week though :jonny5:

an incredible song from start to finish. one of the best produced pop songs in recent memory. a key change in a verse that shifts back into the original key at the chorus is psychotic and they made it work. the guitar picking, the ethereal outro, everything is *immaculate* :sabrina:
