I don't understand how this song won.

But the there was not a single outstanding song in the contest. Everything was mid this year.

Italy is the only decent winner this decade so far. Sad times for Eurovision...

I'm glad Israel didn't win, but this is just another forgettable song. No one will listen to this in a week.

Winning with <200 televote points is just shameful, but when the other option is Israel's fraudulent points then you don't know what's worse. It's just a pity that once again the winner was decided by the jury, it'll be forgotten about within a week just like last year.

Neither Israel's song (which would win by televoting) would become one. Only Espresso Machiato could be a hit.

This is probably because I'm an ignorant American and we don't use Eurovision (and our version in 2021 was a big fat flop) but can someone list the songs that won the contest that actually went to become real genuine hits in Europe?

The vocal and outro is insane. Love it.

It's not a show in like the xfactor/American idol format. It's more like the music olympics of camp Europe. 

Crazy that my country actually won.
