You either get it or you don't — and I love the bold move... They gave us something completely different from the SIS era. Instead of playing it safe and dropping a track the fans were guaranteed to l

Same! I hope they can get the breakthrough hit they need :duca:

Just finished watching Popstar Academy and I'm so much more hyped now!! Their first 2 music videos are so good too. I hope they have what it takes to be a global force in music :duca:

I love ha. :jonnycat:

"Gnarly" is an awful title and the concept seems gross and corny so far.... but i hope the song is a bop, these girls have way too much potential for the mid ass songs they have been given so far :toofunny2:

my thoughts. it's giving NUGU kpop :sadviolin:

I was expecting a PCD or DC slay but they decided to cosplay Kpop again

Pls tell me this isn't the "snippet" you heard cause you can't hear anything

The leak sounds extremely LQ, I'll wait till we hear more before passing judgment.

Manon saying this is going to be experimental...the leak is real I fear :eli:.

Can see it either being amazing or a huge miss. Interesting that they're trying to go for girl crush after Touch was the breakout hit - thinking this is Hybe's doing. Maybe they have a second single in the pipeline in case the reception isn't great.

Everything about this is weird. The music is serving Kpop boygroup noise and the food visuals are just a strange decision.

All they had to do was to serve some Pussycat Dolls, while giving us cute Tate McRae (SCTW) rejects and we all would have been happy. The girls have so much potential to finally bring back a successful western girl group but I guess Hybe just doesn't know what to do other than giving them the same kpop music every other group is releasing.

Unfortunately until YC turns 18 later this year, we're stuck with HYBE's NUGU experimental direction :noparty:

At least the girls look gorgeous & the styling is better, hopefully the B-Side is a bop

Am I the only one loving the teaser? :jonny5:

But yeah, if HYBE's goal is to create a successful global girl group, this kind of sound is the last thing they should be doing :deadbanana2:

These girls have too much potential!! The k-pop direction is not hit for them
