It could also be one of the reasons why she hasn't put out any new TV so far, because she wants to focus solely on RED TV for her Grammy submissions, just how she focused on evermore over Fearless TV last year.

 

That being said, I hope she doesn't submit it, because it is kinda fraudulent to essentially submit the same album from 10 years ago.

Best case scenario imo is that she only submits the new vault tracks, cause those are really the only "new" pieces of music.

I thought I read that songs written over 5 years ago are not eligible for a song writing nomination. She was going around parading that she wrote the song years ago

I was trying to find the 5 year rule for Song of The Year and came across this:

NEW RECORDINGS
“New recordings” is defined as material that has been recorded within five years of the release date and not previously released.
 

An album must contain greater than 75% playing time of newly recorded (within five years of the release date), previously unreleased recordings, which will be implemented for the 65th.

Red (Taylor’s Version) won’t be eligible since it’s not 75% of newly recorded songs 

 

This went into effect at this years ceremony, I wonder if behind the scenes the changes were made because of Taylor’s announcement of her re-recording her albums.
