JOYRIDE is the most unserious song ever but that's what makes it amazing I cannot believe I am witnessing slander of her best pop song in nearly a decade.

My current order of this era is:

Joyride.

Attention.

The One.

Boy Crazy.

-

Yippie-Ki-Yay

Delusional.

I feel like a lot of you are sleeping on The One. It's a bop imo.

Also, is there no way Attention could still be replaced by Delusional on the album?? :jonnycat:

It seems like a mistake to just have it on the deluxe

Does anyone know which outtakes were in consideration for the final cut of the album but didn't make it?

Rankings so far ..

1. Attention

2. Joyride

3. Boy Crazy

4. The One

5. Yippie-Ki-Yay

6. Delusional

Would you guys judge me if I said I was tacking Fine Line (demo) onto this album? Since it was released during the promotion of Period I associate it with this album.

On Gag Order, the dark melancholy production makes it seem like she's in the midst of the epiphany she's singing about, like she's not quite freed from walking the fine line, but the demo is so much lighter, like she's finally freed herself of walking it. It's beautiful and breathes a whole new life into the song. Might be one of favorite Kesha songs ever now. I love it so much more than the original.

in general, idk about any tracklist final cuts but from whats leaked so far:

  • If I Was U
  • Bop It
  • Good Man
  • Good Girl
  • Oh My God
  • Existential Crisis Song (Got too High Again)
  • Do You Really Know Anybody? (i think only snippets leaked)

and from unleaked titles:

  • Get Out of My House (aka DIY i believe)
  • Fun
  • Do It First
  • Wildlife
  • Chakra
  • Mercury
  • Nothing In Life Can Kill You Like Love
  • Love Worth Dying for
  • Give Me a Reason (i believe this was first teased on Instagram long before JOYRIDE was teased, around the time Gag Order era ended)

Yeah but she dropped it officially between Boy Crazy and Attention so I can count it as part of the Period era in my brain :nicole:

It doesn't seem like it. I guess it's cheaper to produce.

I'm pretty sure that ended up leaking, right? Roughly a minute, pretty obvious it was meant to be like an interlude or something
