I don't mind more pop as long is it sounds way more adventurous than what we got with the majority of Period.

She can do much better than basic pop songs, that's why Joyride was so well received.

Boy Crazy should have been a smash hit

I really think this era would've been less of a flop if she had just followed joyride up with boy crazy and then red flag

I've always liked YKY and I understand why she went with it as a single. I do think that it could have waited for album release week but I see why she thought it might wind up becoming a small hit. Delusional however was a mistake.

Delusional was the defining mistake that killed the era dead in its tracks. The JOYRIDE hype was so momentous.

I wonder if she'll give us a folk album next? She teased one in 2019 maybe she'll give us something similar and YKY was a taste

Imagine if she scrapped a folk album after hearing the feedback for YKY hasn't been the best lol

I really liked the idea of the folk album back then. Stay Gold sounded like a beautiful track, I know a version of it leaked but it was different to the preview she posted which sounded even better. Chasing Thunder and Summer were also my favourites from High Road, so I would've enjoyed more music in that vein.

I hope the next album will be a mix of sounds. I think she really tapped into something great with Zhone and the sound of Period overall, which she should continue to explore, but I do miss Rocksha too. And eclectic mix like the Rainbow album would be good I think. I don't really care if her albums are cohesive or not, she is capable and great at many genres and I enjoy seeing her explore them all.

I think I've set it before but I'd love if K7 was like a mix of gag order and cannibal/animal. Like fun party pop/dance/house music but more experimental and darker and grittier.

A folk or rock album would be fun too! I just hope we don't get a more sort of generic pop album again.
