I'm subscribed to Disney's text notifications about store sales and just got a text that said "Joyride!" from them :soda:

Delusional isn't a bad song by any means, but it lacks that Kesha spark that the majority of her catalogue has. It could have been written/released by pretty much anyone. One of the reasons I love Kesha is how her personality shines through in her music. It doesn't really shine in Delusional, IMO.

You just summarized my problem with this song in particular.

I feel like with this album coming out it will make people realize high road wasn't that bad

Are you telling us you hate Period or?

i don't hate it

Please stop bringing the High Road era up during Kesha's first independent era. It's very triggering to me and my culture. :clack:

We have 4 confirmed vinyl variants now. Pretty much confirms how badly RCA/Kemosabe purposefully botched her last two eras. The bare minimum for higher first week sales is teaming up with places like Urban Outfitters and Amazon for vinyl variants.

i really think a lot of the reason why we never had physical / vinyl variants on release day for any of these records is because of how late kesha turned in her albums vs when they came out

I mean……… This album already feels like High Road younger sister to me.

Even the colors match, idk. I kinda get the same vibes.

And I was actually listening to HR last night, and it was great. I just hate the last 4 tracks….

Didn't you post in that Katy thread a while back that Kesha's new album would prove the naysayers wrong

I'm not really sure how to take this other than her new album sounds a mess, which is crazy because I swear you were one of the people shitting on the impatient fans saying to give her time because she knows what she's doing.

Well yeah when the next albums are artpop, joanne, and jazz :suburban:

it has nothing to do with her new album or how it sounds. when new music comes out fans are more open to the music they didn't like from the past.

I'll never understand the high road hate. It's a great album.

It didn't sound like that to me.

Yeah either your back-peddling now or you purposely just wanted to rile us up…
