I've always noticed certain record labels tend to have similar sounds. 
 

I have to say my favorite is Interscope. They have most of the popular alternative artists.

 

What other patterns have you guys noticed?

Asking and Drag Me Out no longer with Sumerian but they all changed there sounds after leaving that label

 

 

It is a known fact that SM Entertainment has 30% ownership of my person.

 

 

Throughout my entire life, the labels that seemed to stick with me the most consistently were Fueled by Ramen (since middle school), Mom and Pop (since graduating high school), and Wax Bodega (since early 20s). I am choosing those because I like just about every artist that is signed to these record labels. These days I gravitate mostly towards Wax Bodega artists. A couple years ago I discovered Counter Intuitive thanks to a band called Origami Angel, who is my most listened to artist that I have been checking out their roster and enjoying.

Adele's old? label XL recordings and Island Records

TDE.....Kendrick, SZA, Doechii, Isaiah Rashad, Schoolboy Q

Interscope has Lady Gaga (Pop/Dance), Kendrick, Eminem & Carti (Rap), Kacey (Country), Billie (Pop/Alternative), Lana (Alternative), Olivia (Pop/Rock), Gracie and Selena (Whisper Pop), Blackpink (in the US/KPOP) etc.

Columbia has everything. They got people like Adele, Bey, Rosalia and Harry, but also Celine, Barbra Streisand and Billy Joel. Even Addison Rae.

Gonna break down according to the Big 3 label groups:

 

1) Universal Music Group (UMG)

- Interscope or Republic depend on the releases

 

2) Sony Music Entertainment (SME)

- Columbia. The other flagship labels under SME (Epic, RCA, Arista) are too incompetent to be my favorite music label

 

3) Warner Music Group (WMG)

- Maybe Atlantic and/or Warner Records depend on releases. Elektra was revived almost a decade back with less established acts compare to Atlantic and Warner so can't see much of it right now. Parlophone being the UK/Europe based label so their US distribution mostly handled by Warner Records with exception some acts handled by Atlantic
