delays, restrictions, lack of backing

Not really though, Mae muller had Eurovision at the back of her hand. Her song was just real bad and so it flopped. Not the labels fault

Her album has tracks that still haven't hit 90k streams

Eurovision was in May and then her album didn't come out until September. Even though she came last, I'm sure she would've got some curiosity streams if they'd released closer to the time.

Sounds good ! Always cheering the indie girlies !

Plus her song still went top 10 despite the poor Eurovision results so there was some interest. They definitely dropped the ball.

I'll stand by the fact that the album is amazing and has some really good pop tracks on it.

She is partly to blame for it being such a massive flop. She should have embraced the Eurovision result (even if that means faking being happy with it) to get all of the Eurovision fans on board, just like Sam Ryder did. Instead, she trashed it and really alienated the ESC fans. Bad move. The label clearly sent Mae to ESC to help her career, but she probs only gained a handful of fans from that because of how entitled she acted afterwards.

Of course the label are also partly to blame, but they had her booked and busy.

I know they have different target audiences, but it says a lot when Sam Ryder (even beating SZA's first week!), who was previously unknown with no hits sold 25k and debuted at #1, whilst Mae sold 3k at #33.

I will stream, but she is kinda annoying.

Oh wow this is a bop. It easily could've slotted on her debut album though (not that that's a bad thing, but she hinted that it's a new sound).

oh WOW i just listened it now without any expectations and i really loved it… it's better than anything in her debut
