Maybe a joint Superbowl with Ariana being the lead and Doja as a guest performer. That way Doja can perform 34+35/Motive with Ari and 2-3 of her big hits like Say So / Kiss Me More / PTTR.

superbowl rehearsals don't usually start 6 months ahead of time, could be another gig 

Yeah I really think its too early for Superbowl rehearsals.

 

I guess its something connected with album release in September.

the look is great, I wish she threaded in some of her scarlet vibe with a harder rap verse but the "self feature" rap verse in this is close enough and killer - no features needed!

Honestly it gagged me that Antonoff is on this. It is clear that he was responsible only for the part of the production but this is it - a polished 80s song without those crappy sounding retro lo-fi synths he tends to use nowadays.

Agree that it's too early, but I also wanna add that it seems like her team did the best thing by waiting until late August to release this after the summer drought we've experienced. It feels like everyone was waiting for a song like this to finally drop.

She's always been that girl 

I'm sorry but the song kinda goes nowhere.. and it's very short. I don't think it's gonna smash like y'all think it's going to. A moderate success but she has way better songs. The chorus is ear candy don't get me wrong but the rap verse is not hitting like Say So's and overall it just feels repetitive there is no second part to look forward (and the belting really changes very little its kinda drowned in the sound)

This would have been a great summer radio hit it's very radio friendly, she is one of the pop girls I feel should have released earlier to have the summer practically to themselves, we lacked in summer hits
