I'm pleasantly surprised at how good this is.

 

Little machines was the last album I enjoyed from Lights. With this new record, I feel transported to the early 2010's 

DAY TWO just made me burst into tears holy ****

Its so good

I'm loving everything about it. Definitely her best album. My faves keep changing because they really are all that good. I love the visuals from the promo pics to the visualizers for each song. The way the videos just totally cement how the songs already feel just shows the pure authenticity of this album. I love it so much.  

Amazing! First half of the album is perfect. Even this some songs sound the same, this is a great album. Your killing me is so catchy! Surface tension is my favorite along with it. Need a few more listenings to rank. 

Take it easy is such a vibe! This is such a chill summer evening drive album 

The Piranha and Day Two 1-2 punch omg

Definitely enjoyed this overall a lot on my first listen especially when compared to PEP (which I've grown to appreciate a lot). I think every song clicked for me aside from 3? Clingy sounds sooo outta place & straight outta PEP which threw me off.

 

&......Pirahna literally top 5 Lights songs for me. I didn't know how bad I needed to hear a The Midnight esque bop from her cause wow

As you said, it's probably her best album in a very long time. I finally feel like I've found the artist I loved with her first two albums again. 'Second Go,' 'Ice,' and 'Toes' are still close to my heart! It's more mature than PEP, which was a bit of a mess ! "White Paper Palm Trees" is so pure

a big step up over her last two mainline albums, but it still lost me for a but during the middle. nothing repeated listens couldn't fix, so im excited to listen it more. she was on Q with Tom Power the other day and talked a lot about her German heritage and making the album in Berlin, it was very interesting.

I think it could refer to her either being ghosted by a former lover (hence the "ghost girl" in the title" but idk

i've known her for years but wasnt fan of her music gave this album a listen and was super suprised the album is very good
