    Woman's World is Katy Perry trying to capitalize on nostalgia and recreate her Teenage Dream's campiness and sound (down to recruiting the same producer) and failing miserably. She could have done it in better ways.

     

    Abracadabra (and Disease) is a blatant callback to Born This Way/The Fame Monster eras (even Gaga said that) but she actually found a way to bring the sound/energy to today with fresh collaborators. She's reintroducing her old sound without feeling like a retread.
