Addison Rae just took an early lead in the 2025 Breakout Artist of the Year stakes by notching her first Rolling Stone cover in advance of her upcoming Columbia debut, Mood Boards.

It's a mistake from HITS. This Rolling Stone article specifies that the album is currently untitled.

  • Horrible title. Should of just named it   ADDISON RAE

Oh queenie :suburban:

Spoiler

I'm going to pretend that I don't hate this title and maybe by the time it comes out I won't :ryan3:

I'm thinking maybe I would like it more if it was "Mood Board"..why plural…but ima pretend I love it cuz miss thing will happen in 2025 :clap3:

The record is currently untitled and incomplete, but coming together between sessions in L.A., New York, and Sweden. The spirit of pop from all three cities has made its way into its DNA.

a lot can happen in that time in regards to the album.

That Rolling Stone article is from Tuesday (1/21), which is basically taken from her interview that was published by the magazine on that date. Meanwhile, the HITS article in the OP (which is based from Rolling Stone) was written on Thursday (1/23).

This is the reason why they made a mistake, thinking that 'Mood Boards' is the title of the album when, in fact, 'mood boards' or 'mood boarding' is a phrase which Addison refers to the songs she has co-written with Luka and Elvira.

Rae of Light was right there and would have been an absolute collapse

yeah I think they took the RS article title and ran with it (unless RS spilled without being obvious which would be dumb? :toofunny3:)

The way I just know in the deepest corners of my heart this will be AOTY.
