I agree the album was not needed and it killed momentum 

 

But my boys as the first single could have been big 

then GAS and DB. 

This album was for her (enormous) core fanbase. I don't think the singles, or their order, would have made a huge difference to its wider reach. 

 

There's too much lore. Too many easter eggs. It's not accessible. 

 

For her next album, I think Taylor should step away from feeding the parasocial aspects of her fans relationship to her music. It needs to be about great music, and not result in fans uploading 40 minute  videos discussing which song are about Healey/Alwyn/Kelce.
