Now actually clock that tea.

Like yes child exploitation is bad but I feel most of the discourse is used to fuel fanwars instead of people genuinely caring how the idols are being treated.

It's called stanning them on the right time with the right musical output  :clap3:

Plus imo there's something to be said about the fact that even after a couple years of being exposed to public scrutiny and the working conditions of the industry, that every single member of NJZ was fully ready to re-commit to idol group activities and the parents were fully supportive as well.

It is extremely tragic though that these kids dedicated their lives to an industry that they are now effectively banned from working in.

they all deserves some lashings too. hellweird being the biggest offender and they needs to be called out.

That being said Kpop is in the hot seats bc they keep on debuting minors. New Jeans being the biggest example whose sole concept revolves around being young  :matty:

Everybody but Hyein is 18 and NJZ has dominated every stage they ever stepped on so what now. Is it only retroactively bad when it's a group you've arbitrarily decided to hate based off of meaningless fanwars? Friendly reminder that when the disgusting actions of HYBE against aespa came to light, that NJZ plastered the company hq with aespa stickers. Talent and hard work recognizes talent and hard work. :bunny:

notice how no group has been able to blow up in the west since NJ :dies:

the industry shot themselves in the foot

sis I didn't choose to hate on them bc of some stupid fan wars? I don't like their music and this attitude how they are above Kpop when in reality they are just like your average manufactured kpop group. also I spent the same energy on other groups, they aren't special  :flower2:

There's child stars in every industry yet East Asian industries seem to be the only industry called creepy and weird for it.

No offense but no one knows those industries Kpop is will well known ww so ofc the outrage is huge.

They were very talented and also had the same creative force behind SNSD, SHINee, and f(x) calling the shots. With specifically f(x) collaborators being brought in to assist with music and visuals.

There's a reason every new girl group is a newjeans knockoff, just like how bigbang, 2ne1, and SNSDs image/sound have been endlessly recycled. That's impact and it's quite literally undeniable considering they're the first group to achieve that since the 00s.

New jeans concept revolves around youth culture because they are teenagers and young adults.

Riize has the exact same concept base same with heart2heart.

Their concepts are age appropriate. And you have a problem with them?

Literally though. Like New Jeans truly were the next 2NE1/Twice/GG/Blackpink in terms of global success/recognition. It's so ******* sad that the momentum is gone and we truly lost an amazing/innovative group. Like they changed the sound of Kpop in just their short run

The 48 groups were called out a lot for debuting super young members all the time with not so age appropriate concepts for some of the members. Same with Johnny's and associates groups. Their was a group that debuted as minors called sexy zone… you don't know what you're talking about

You also you have their stans thinking they are the best thing that happened in Kpop bc of that concept so like when that huge check payola runs out and without MHJ they really don't have anything going on for them    :flower2:

MHJ isn't responsible for SNSD's talents and music, two of the reasons why I stan those hags. I don't primarily stan costumes   :matty:

Taeyeon being the mitochondria of kpop/my biological father does not erase that Min Heehee contributed to the output of those groups in ways that you personally enjoy too. :foxaylove2:

I'm confused yall is Groundwork or BTG the title track

well I enjoy talents and music first and foremost. costumes comes second :clap3:

like if we really have to use creative vision as an argument. RV's Feel My Rhythm is most most praised concept here with aespa's avatars and she have no input with any of this two :clap3:
