idk if i'm being dramatic but im actually devastated at txt's new setlist

 

im seeing them in a couple of weeks after waiting six years for them to come to europe properly and they removed run away (my fav k-pop song of all time), crown, blue hour and chasing that feeling.. to play a bunch of two min songs instead? 

 

70% selling my tickets at this point bc i was gonna miss my uni class photo for this concert since i've stanned them since debut but i cannot handle the loss of run away it's literally my fourth most played song of all time on AM, i love it so so so much 

 

txt aren't talked about here much lately but i need to express my sadness somewhere lmao

No I get it, I was talking to my friend about this the other day. I'm not a TXT fan but artists do this all the time. I personally hate when they take out old hit songs and change it for a bside just because it's from a newer album. It makes sense in an north american tour because they wanna promote the album and tour the US often so it makes sense to change the setlist to make it different. But some artists barely come to latin america (or in your case, europe) and not every fan gets to go on every tour so if I went I would rather have singles in the setlist over new songs.

yeah it's so disappointing. i totally get it for asia and north america, bc at this point they'll have seen the same songs so many times. removing ghosting and some b sides for newer b sides, i totally understand too. but to come to europe for the first time and remove RUN AWAY of all songs, most of their earliest title tracks, and even chasing that feeling, is actually treacherous lmao. especially since they were replaced with their newer b-sides which are like 2 mins long and quite clearly made for streams so they never reached their full potential as songs anyway 

 

i would say maybe they don't wanna play those songs anymore bc it's not satisfying their artistry these days but i doubt they have a say in the setlist anyways xjsksjs

Uhm im also the one who spilled that dont go yet by camila cabello sounds like soccer anthem, armageddon has imm a get done phrase and shaking ass choreo, hearts2hearts having 8 members etc...but you do you boo...its not my fault i was listening to illit and oh too much lately the crop part is basically sound like oh..

Assuming they will continue investing resources to continue the level of MHJ's creative direction when it's shown that they only need to regurgitate it for an easy overnight hit like with Magnetic, and ILLIT is actually BSH's project. If NewJeans stayed, they would still be profitable but in the sense that the company would most likely just cash out on their established goodwill without giving the resources or fighting to push the cultural bar with them like their creator would. This why the members left.

That's exactly it. Hanni didn't name anyone. HYBE did.
