A CLASSIC . :falcon:

she literally curated and compiled a whole soundtrack album for a movie when she was 17 whew...

lyrics of this song perfectly matches the movie with describing the rise of Katniss Everdeen and it was acclaimed & got nominated for a Golden Globe too :flame:

Prime Lorde was something unmatched

she was 17 when this song was out and she's 27 now with just 3 albums... she's young we don't even know if she had her prime yet she has so many things to try

400 Lux from her debut is her best song imo !

This song made me fall in love with her music for the first time. Still one of my favorite songs.

Spoiler

And the Kanye rework regrettably slaps but the original is still better:ninja:

I'd totally forgotten about this song and how good it is. The humming in the beginning is everything.

This + Meltdown + Magnets were such a 1-2-3 punch.

I randomly had it on my mind all week after not listening to it for a long time :deadbanana4: This classic :clap3:

This song is soo good and as much as I hate him the Kanye West remix EATS :WAP:

The fact that she followed up "red, orange, yellow flicker beat" with "Green Light" is lowkey genius.

Still one of her best songs. Glad to see my country stanning :jonny6:

I will always maintain it's her best song :jonny5:its so addictive. Makes me wonder why more big movies don't have  artists curate their soundtracks

Lmao really? I love that.

I didn't realise that "my loneliness ain't killing me no more" (Stronger) was a reference to "my loneliness is killing me" (Baby One More Time) until I was like 25. But that was way more obvious.

In my defence, I was a kid when both songs came out, and I didn't really like Stronger as a kid, so I rarely listened to it.

She also connected Melodrama with Solar Power if we look at it that way:

from Liability: They're gonna watch me disappear into the sun - you're all gonna watch me disappear into the sun

Makes me wonder if there are any hints about L4 on Solar Power too
