This wouldve been so much better if it was a full song with a bridge and final chorus.... sounds like a demo

this is cute, don't think it's topping new woman or rockstar but it's definitely something new for lisa and it piques my interest for her debut album even more tbh

Cute. I think New Woman is the best track she's released this year, hopefully her album has more bangers.

dont like sample, doesnt sound too exciting, for me rockstar was only bop

it's kinda flat.... it's giving emily in paris type of over-romanticisation sensation towards paris

the kiss me chorus doesn't sound interesting enough to warrant a copy and paste with no alterations. the original has a charm because of the idiosyncratic vocal delivery, which lisa lacks here - lisa sounds the same in the verses and chorus, very flat.

 

a lot weaker than her previous two singles, but it's not bad.

It's a cute little ditty… but it doesn't go anywhere, kinda fluff

I loved her previous releases but this sounds like her team heard 'Espresso' and they were like 'girl same'!

this is nice. i'm surprised how much i'm enjoying Lisa releases. Much more than the garbage that she and Blackpink release under YG

does this sample kiss me AND espresso/say so? damn this is so mid and boring... no bridge, no change up, just a flat recording... i'd not say it's a complete dud but after money, rockstar and woman, this is so subpar.

why would RCA wait for something to stick when they only distribute her music through her licensing

She's now going to enter a weird phase where she will release 4/5 songs pre-album and that's never good

RCA has no control over Lisa's releases. She's planning to release at least 5 singles then the album will come probably in January-February. 

yeah this was truly the perfect time for the album announcement 

like is she really going to release 4 singles before the album….

Not as strong as Rockstar and New Woman for me.. leaning too heavily on the sample and it's more making me wanna listen to Kiss Me. Still not bad but just not as good as the two other singles

This is so boring  

Her team is clearly scrambling for any sort of purchase in the US market. Each single has been so starkly different from the previous ones, and this is just Say So 5.0, except with a borrowed hook. Might be a cute top 40 hit but it's not doing anything to set her apart as a solo artist. 

Ehhh it's a cute album track/promo single at best. The world didn't really need another Say So clone, especially when Espresso smashed this year. The sample was extremely lazy too. The Tame Impala one on Rockstar >>>>>>

 

I really like how different her releases have been so far though. 

Jennie is dropping a new single next week, Rosie just announced her album coming in December, you want Lisa to announce an album now and get dragged?

she announce this song as jennie was teasing her one. and rosé announced her album beyond these announcements. they dont care about the hate from their solo stans/akgaes
