You know the lyrics sound much better than what she has put out lately but she needs a new sound engineer or something. The quality isn't there. The beat also sounds dated. At least it's not as auto tuned as the others.

Is she serious? 

I love Lil' Kim but she needs to let it go. Besides Black Friday (song not the mixtape) she sounds horrible on everything she's put out. She shows little glimmers of what once was, but she doesn't maintain that energy throughout a track, or project. Her last quality project was the Ms Goat mixtape and that was 16 years ago. 
 

The beat is hard though and would be better fit with Cardi, Megan or Ice.

You said it perfectly. As a life long Kim fan she's musically never been the same since the Ms. GOAT mixtape. Everything that she's put out since then has been terrible—with 'I Am Not the On'e being the exception. 

 

Tracks like these further tarnish her legacy.

It's not poorly produced and amateurish, it's lo-fi and outsider arty

Kim's career may be a mess these days, but no… Biggie and Diddy are not the reasons she was so successful from albums 1-4. It's also laughable considering puffy hasn't actually worked on music with her since her second album, and her third album amassed several hits. That user is discrediting her for whatever reason, but my guess is that it most likely has to do with a certain other female rapper who's stans have a weird obsession with wanting to attribute Kim's success to men, who quite frankly, did more harm to her than good.

Hmm, you're pissed. I didn't discredit her. The original user fantasized of a Kim who rapped like before and had producers who understood her. Her biggest and most notable hits were produced with / written with Biggie, Puff or both of them on the same songs.

 

Once Big died and she stopped working with Puff, yeah she had Jump Off but the quality and delivery of how she rapped changed drastically, in a negative manner. That's my opinion and it's exactly what I stated. If you want Kim from the 90s, she's never coming back because she doesn't have that inspired, collaborative nature she had with Biggie via Junior Mafia or Diddy at his peak of producing.

 

All that other rah rah is unneeded. Everything isn't stan natured. Other female rappers have maintained their strength and talent working with dozens/hundreds of different type. And would never drop straight garbage like Kim has for years now. If you think Kim is still some amazing rapper then that's on you, but she quite clearly sucks now for anyone else who actually grew up with her.

Because with them she was on fire, without them she became a shell of herself. Controversy, bad music, prison while female rappers like Eve, Missy, etc. weren't getting the same visibility and titles. Kim came out claiming herself the top ***** and couldn't maintain it, but because of that initial push she always had the rep. It's why she was mad Nicki came out claiming herself the best when she hadn't a viable career in years at that point.
