if she was able to keep consistently releasing music she 100% would've created a decent fanbase that could've kept her career afloat…being shelved for years did a number on her :(

She should've been allowed to put out an album after Do It Again. Never getting to put out her debut really hurt her.

Is she at least still putting out music? She actually has the talent the material is just consistently not matching it unfortunately.

Has she spoken about how being in limbo her entire career has affected her? She needs to do features and collaborations with consistent quality output and she has an honest shot of blowing up again and for good this time

If this was released with Sean Paul added as a bridge then final chorus for the official version it could've done something. Saving Latto for another song would've fared better

This was so tacky and cheap. Instead of sampling one of Chris Brown songs she should've dropped another collaboration with him and get a Do It Again 2.0 moment again

So has being inconsistent and not sticking with what fans want from her which would Island pop. She loved putting out mid rnb tempos for whatever reason

She has said multiple times about how she recorded like 500 songs under Interscope so there's a lot we haven't heard

 

The Gift 2 are songs she did for the album

 

My Side was a recorded in 2018 and got released in 2021

Yeah, there was probably an album's worth of songs recorded in 2019/2020 before she got dropped by Republic. She's had the worst luck in the music industry. Can't believe she still isn't even 30.

but why though she seems so harmless. i blame the kardashians lol probably threatened by her talent and didn't want to be eclipsed by miss pia. she's still very much young do we know if she's still recording and gonna release music

Looks like a massive folder dated from her Republic Records era surfaced and includes a bunch of new songs, reference tracks and a 'PLAYLIST' folder which seems to be tracks intended for the album. Took it upon myself to compile a tracklist with the singles and new leaks in what probably would be close to her 2020 album if she was ever able to drop it.
