I am praying it is not more of the same that Music of the Spheres was. I cannot think of an album I was more disappointed by from an artist I followed for more than half of my life.

I haven't enjoyed a full body of work from them since Ghost Stories  so my hopes aren't super high...but they have some of my fave albums ever (Parachutes, AROBTTH, VLV) so we'll see...

yeah, there are songs from both projects I like, but I definitely did not love the full albums...

 

as for MOTS, I only like one song  

Screaming that this album is actually real, I've been waiting for so long that I thought it became an urband legend.

For those who want to know the producers involved: Max Martin, Brian Eno, Nile Rodgers and probably the Dream Team (Dan Green, Bill Rahko and Rik Simpson). I will be very surprised if Davide Rossi and Jacob Collier are not in the album too.

i think some of beys trolling is starting to rub off on them

Guy Berryman did mentioned September last year, but take it with a grain of salt since their plans might have changed.

They premiered a final version of their Buenos Aires broadcast last year and it was made available for renting on Veeps a few weeks ago.

hoping the Camila collab will be out soon.

The original plan was touring all the way into 2025 and release their 12th album then, but the band are allergic to following schedules

I wish they would release something similar to X&Y but I'll be dreaming big, they would never try to repeat it

Yeah, aside from not liking to repeat themselves, they hate X&Y

An article in French about the tour points out that the album is scheduled for July 5, 2024, a new moon Friday.

Is this website reliable? I mean, their bassist said it would be out in September.

I love them. It better not be anything like Music of the Sphere

I don't know. But it seems so, SFR is a telecommunications company from France.

Wouldn't be new for them to drop the lead and the album in a short interval though.
