It's very strange that they don't like X&Y, I know they reworked this album a lot before releasing it, it's my favorite album (even among other artists)

I'd love for them to try that space rock vibe again but it turns out they're more into pop sound than anything else

X&Y is their best record to date :/

It wasn't just reworking on the album, the band fought with each other a lot, Phil wasn't around and Coldplay hate was arguably at an all-time high. They came out of the era stronger, but it was definitely traumatic to a degree.

Two of my friends went to the ColdplayXtra meeting in Athens today and everyone there heard the new single with Phil! They said it's amazing and has a beautiful string arrangement in the end

Looks like we'll have something in two weeks because they've shot a music video in Athens and Chris told people that mv will be out in two weeks.
