It's definitely not a hit. I like the track, but I'm hoping the album has stronger songs that could work as singles.

I naturally gravitate to darker-sounding things from a sonic perspective, something that feels like it has bite and grit and edginess to it. I always just like being left of center. At one point, I was like, "Listen, everything can't sound dark. We want to take everybody on a ride. We need to add some color." I love Missy Elliott so much, Timbaland production. I like unique things that haven't necessarily really been heard, so that's also why production is my favorite part of the process. I'm honestly already thinking about what I want the show to look like. I'm excited to perform "Lights On." That's my Janet moment.

I'm so curious of which producers made the cute  let's hope this info comes out once the tracklist is out. 

I just realized that Hugo Comte had been incorrectly credited in just about every publication for doing the promo pics, when he only did the album cover.

 

Only in the last few days was the actual photographer, Marcus Cooper, correctly credited

I wonder did Hugo only take that one picture? Where are the other outtakes?

am i crazy when i say this might actually be a frontrunner for best r&b / progressive r&b album if it's good
