However, there have been multiple instances indicating Dr. Luke's involvement in her new record. This is all speculation but take what you want from it: - Dr. Luke and his family recently watched Katy's vegas show and she took pictures with his children - Rolling Stone has heavily implied his involvement on the new record, mentioning her in a 2023 article about the producer - Dr. Luke and his new team of producers (Aaron Joseph, Rocco Valdes, Ryan OG) have been liking Katy's posts recently, moreso than her past album eras (Witness, Smile, etc.) - There have been blind items speculating a Kim Petras collab (KP x KP) Do we think we will see Lukasz Gottwald on the credits of Katy's new album? Junipero Posted April 16 Share Posted April 16 (edited) Even if Dr. Luke does not produce, she might still use his company Prescription Song's for songwriters like on the "Witness" album. Max Martin was lacking on the Witness album to the point that people speculated that it was Dr. Luke that was in charge of Katy's sound. Max Martin was not a producer for "I Kissed a Girl" or "Hot N Cold", only a songwriter. Katy would need Cirkut and Benny Blanco on the team. I wonder if Oscar Holter will be co-producing as well, since his sound is "the current sound" that is heard on the radio these days; he produced "Cry About it Later" on Smile.
