Idk if this is just me, but I found this with Training Season too. Individually the verses and the chorus are good but they don't merge together well? Like the chorus sounds like it was written for a completely different song. The extended version helped with that in TS so hopefully that's the case here too

    i think i like Houdini a bit more, but this is a better single and video compared to the other 2. the song is tighter.

     

    this feels like her first 'pop girl' single in that Katy/Gaga sense.
