damn, i didnt expect or better say hope for this. song is basic and you can hear she cant sing the chorus in hours. 

i mean she was always struggling, but it was packed with autotune and more takes glued together so it sounds fuller,

here its painful + cover is awful

I want to like this song but the chorus is just not catchy at all and feels out of place with the rest of the record which is a shame since the beat is a nice, fresh spin on the sample.

The viral preview ended up being better than the full song. That said, I like that she's keeping it light and free this time. Have been waiting for her to do so since Distraction.

 

Maybe shallow-sounding, but her music has been so mellow and meh when she's capable of being at the forefront of R&B-Pop leaning performers. So, this is a step in the right direction.

true, but were you not moving for this? it's beautiful and still one of her best songs ("everything" too)

it gets better with the fuller sound towards the end. but it's kinda giving random song in the background whilst characters are dancing
