I find it absolutely ridiculous how it took her almost 6 years to even announce her album

in her defense she never said it was coming, she could have been crying bc she got the final call that it was shelved and she just felt like sharing its intended cover x

Her saying that she was crying typing up that tweet suddenly has way darker implications 

It's fitting for her to name this album Dopamine, which, much like the album, is something I will never have

 

The point was to create momentum / conversation and show there is still interest in her and it worked

Girl it’s barely been 2 weeks since she announced the album. Give her time.

She doesn’t have the kind of hype where she can wait loads of time after dropping the cover/title and still reap its benefits. A single (at least) should have come out within a week of dropping that cover, no later. She’s fumbling again and you hate to see it!

 

I hate how it feels like NONE of these new girls understand the basics of how to roll out an era…like it’s tiring!!

I don't really understand why she announced the title without a release date or even a lead single announcement

and still it's beyond weird that they dropped that without an immediate follow up of a single or release date. even almost 3 weeks later.

 

that kind of hype she had going for a solid two days isn't easy to repeat. the mismanagement continues and u know it

Normani keeps waiting for the label to give her a MPG rollout and promo. But her success doesn't show any signs of MPG level so it keeps getting delayed

Oh absolutely, but the revelation that there is an album was the only smart move they could have made. I'm not even sure there is a single. Maybe they'll drop the full album at this point

You asked for the album name.
Not the release date.

 

I won’t believe this is coming until it’s actually released. Her dropping an album cover and album name but no release date did not give me any hope

at this point dropping the full album with a 1-2 weeks notice would indeed be the smartest idea.
